Brief company history

1950 Establishment of the company; start of production of simple ceramic products

1954 The first furnace for the production of electro porcelain is set up, its first product being Bergman insertion pipe

1960 The company starts independent production of a complete fuse

1977 ETI develops and manufactures first Miniature Circuit Breaker

1979 The company is named "Tovarna elektrotehničnih izdelkov Elektroelement Izlake"

1980 ETI develops first assembly line - beginning of automatization

1991 The legal status of the company is changed to joint stock company
         The crash of the ex-Yugoslav market; ETI redirects to western markets

1995 Following the ownership transformation process, the employees become the majority owners of the company

1997 Start of internationalization; subsidiaries ETI GUM in Slovenia and ETI POLAM n Poland are established

1999 The start of production at ETI SVIT and associated company ETI NORTON 
         The reorganisation of ETI d.d.

2000 The start of production at ETI SARAJEVO in BiH

2001 Acquisition of 100 percent stake in ETI POLAM

2002 Subsidiary ETI ELB is established in Slovakia

2003 Subsidiary ETI UKRAINE is established in Ukraine

2004 Purchase of share Italweber in Italy
         Branch office ETI is established in Russia
         Subsidiary ETI DE is established in Germany
         Subsidiary ETIBALTUS is established in Lithuania
         Acquisition of 100 percent stake in Polam Pultusk

2005 Subsidiary ETI B is established in Serbia and Montenegro
         Merger of subsidiary ETI Steatit d.o.o. back to the mother company ETI d.d.

2006 Subsidiary ETI HU is established in Hungary

2007 Subsidiary ETI Bulgarija Ltd. is established in Bulgaria.
