Features
Uniform Cover Cutout
All KVL disconnector sizes feature a uniform cover cutout, allowing them to be combined for a consistent aesthetic.
Easy Adjustments
Can be adjusted to accommodate 5mm or 10mm thick busbars. Cable terminals can be easily modified to exit from either the bottom or top side.
Changeable Installation Depth
Offers four different field supporting surfaces (32mm, 60mm, 70mm, 90mm) for flexible installation depth.
Area-Saving Design: An integrated feeding terminal facilitates busbar supply and a safe outgoing cable outlet.
This supports busbars up to 20mm width and 19mm height max, providing an area-saving solution.
Retrofittable Switch Indicator: Available for dual monitoring within each unit and supporting separate circuit functions.
It offers a high switching capacity of 10/3A (resistive/inductive) at AC250V.

- KVL horizontal fuse-switch disconnectors are specifically designed for tool-free mounting onto 60mm busbar systems.
- No drilling is required for installation on the busbar.
- They are compatible with NV/NH Fuse-links of sizes 000, 00, 1, 2, and 3.
- KVL disconnectors are available in 1-pole and 3-pole versions.
- There are four main sizes: size 00, size 1, size 2, and size 3.
- KVL size 00: Rated operational current (Ie) of 160A; overall width: 106mm.
- KVL size 1: Rated operational current (Ie) of 250A; overall width: 184mm.
- KVL size 2: Rated operational current (Ie) of 400A; overall width: 210mm.
- KVL size 3: Rated operational current (Ie) of 630A; overall width: 250mm.
- Protection Covers
• Overlap Protection: Provides touch protection for the busbar system on the top side for KVL-00, KVL-1, KVL-2, and KVL-3 sizes.
• Terminal Covers: These are extendable and feature adjustable cable input for 1-pole and 3-pole units, available in various lengths and sizes.
• Extension Terminal Covers: Provide additional touch protection for the busbar system on the top side, specifically for KVL-00.
• Cover Supports:- For the top and bottom sides of KVL-00, adjustable to 60mm and 70mm levels.
- Lateral cover supports for KVL-00 (variable for 32mm, 60mm, and 70mm levels).
- Lateral cover supports for KVL-1, -2, -3 (variable for 32mm, 60mm, 70mm, or 90mm levels).
- Mounting Adjustment
- Height Adjustment Adapters (HA KVL-00): Enable the adjustment of KVL-00 units to a 90mm installation level in various configurations (top/bottom, right/left).
- Monitoring Interlocking
- Switch Position Indicators (MST KVL-x): Signal the switch position and feature 2 changeover contacts, AC250V, 10/3A (resistive/inductive).
- Electronic Fuse Monitoring Unit (EFMU KVL-x 3p): Designed for monitoring fuse-links with live gripping lugs.
- Electromechanical Fuse Monitoring Unit (MPFMU KVL-x 3p): Also for monitoring fuse-links with live gripping lugs.
- Mechanical Fuse Monitors (MFM KVL-x): Used in conjunction with ETI fuse-links that include a striker-pin.
- Locking Device (LP KVL-00123): Allows for locking with a padlock of maximum 6mm diameter.
- Contact Cover Interlock (IC KVL-00123): An interlock for contact covers that can only be operated by a tool.
- Terminal Options
- Clip Terminals (SP KVLx): For copper conductors ranging from 1.5 – 70 mm² Cu up to 11x21 mm² Cu for flat strips.
- Prism Clamps (SP KVLx P1, P2)
- Frame Clamps (SP KVL-x V): Designed for 35 – 300 mm² Al/Cu conductors.
- Terminal Blocks with Multiple Wire Connections (MTB KVL00): Offer connections for multiple wires like 2x25/1x16/M8 or 4x10/M8.
- Other Accessories
- Connecting Kits (CK KVL-00): Used to build 2-pole or 4-pole disconnectors from individual units.
