ETI offers a comprehensive series of mounting insulators designed to meet the demanding requirements of various electrical applications. These insulators are made from high-quality materials and are manufactured to the highest standards to ensure superior performance and reliability.

Key features and specifications of our mounting insulator series:

• Material: BMC polyester halogen free
• Flammability: VO (UL94)
• Installation temperature: -20°C ... +120°C
• Dimensions: Each insulator is identified by a marking in the format: INS H × M × ES
  • H: Height of the insulator
  • M: Hole diameter
  • ES: External diameter of insulator
• Mechanical parameters:
• Tensile strength: Maximum pulling force the insulator can withstand, measured in daN (decaNewtons)
• Cantilever strength: Maximum bending force the insulator can withstand, measured in daN
• Twisting strength: Maximum torque the insulator can withstand, measured in Nm (Newton meters)
• Electrical characteristics:
  • Operating voltage AC/DC: Maximum voltage the insulator can safely withstand
  • Flashover voltage: Voltage at which an electrical discharge occurs over the insulator's surface

Application

Support insulators are intended for installation in el. enclosures for supporting busbars and/or other current leading parts. They provide electrical insulation. They are made of red fiber-reinforced polyester glass, which guarantees high resistance and mechanical strength. On both sides, the insulator has threaded sleeves made of galvanized steel.
